Nebo is situated about 25 km (15 km on gravel) from Ficksburg, to the south, and about 35 kms (12 km on gravel) from Fouriesburg, travelling north.
Traveling from Gauteng/ Senekal/Rosendal
- Take the N1 to Kroonstad. When passing Kroonstad, look for the R76 towards Bethlehem, then follow this road towards Steynsrus / Bethlehem.
- At Steynsrus, turn right towards Senekal on the R720 and later left onto the R70. Drive through Senekal on the N5 towards Bethlehem.
- Some 5 km beyond Senekal turn right onto the R70 to Ficksburg / Rosendal. Exactly 10 km past Rosendal, turn left onto the S384 gravel road when you see the Moolmanshoek sign. Continue for 7.5 km until you see the Moolmanshoek sign and entrance gate on the left.
- Keep straight on the road for another +-10 km until you see ‘Nebo’ carve out in sand stone rock and then you have arrived at our entrance. Follow the brick road. Open the gate and come to the reception at the main house.
Traveling from Gauteng on the N3 (Frankfort/ Bethlehem)
- Take the N3 to Durban. Continue on the N3 and then take the Villiers - R26 turnoff. Past Frankfort turn left and continue on the R26 to Reitz and Bethlehem. At Bethlehem follow the R26 to Fouriesburg/Ficksburg.
- ±20 km outside Fouriesburg is turn off onto the dirt road (S385). It is a scenic dirt road that goes over the mountain. You can then rather continue towards Ficksburg to take the S386. There are brown tourism boards indicating that it is the turnoff to Nebo, Franshoek and Rustlers valley at both turn off places. Continue on the dirt road until you get to a four way crossing. Continue straight for 1.5km to Nebo's entrance.
